Louis The Child & Madeon - Believe It Review

Madeon’s so-called “gap year” is about halfway over and he’s doing lots of cool side quests. The most recent of these adventures is this single that came out recently with Louis The Child. The song is super upbeat and sounds ready for the summer (especially with those tropical steel drums). My only real gripe with the song is that I wish it were longer because it comes and goes in a flash. The keys that open the track are so dreamy and sound great. Random background talking, noises, and static in the intro remind me heavily of The Avalanches just taken to a pop extreme. This should be attached to an EP with the trio, that’d be a solid release this year. It is straight-up shimmery summer pop and I am enjoying it very much.
